👉Do you find yourself desperate to move forward in your healing journey?
Most people believe that in order to be ready to step into the greater version of themselves, they first need not feel the pain of the past traumas any longer.
It makes sense to believe this.
BUT...
This is not the case.
Why is this such good news? Because you don't have to wait a certain timeframe, a certain `right` amount of time before you can CHOOSE to embody your truest and greatest version.
You can hold space for the painful past AND take an empowered step towards embodying your best and true self. It doesn't have to be either/ or , it's totally OK to be hurting AND healing at the same time. It's totally OK to offer a safe container for the aspects of your consciousness/inner child aspects that are in emotional pain all the while striving and taking active steps towards the YOU that you were meant to be.
So moving forward WITH the parts in you that are hurting and grieving the past, not despite them & how they're feeling, is the way to go.
You can do it right now! You already have it within you!
So here are the 2 steps that will enable you to tread confidently on your path back to your true self:
1️⃣ Accepting/acknowledging your past for exactly what it was is how you release resistance to it.
We can't change our past. We can't.
And that's the cruel reality.
But that's not what we are meant to do anyway.
We are meant TO CREATE OUR LIFE/FUTURE WITH THE WISDOM OF THE INTEGRATED LESSONS LEARNED FROM OUR PAST.
Let yourself grieve. Let yourself release the pent up emotional charge that you have accumulated throughout the years.
2️⃣ Get clear on what is the next empowered step to take from where you are.
This step has to be a baby step so as to not overwhelm your system.
Self paced journey towards who you want to become is the best way. Ask yourself this question. Mull over.
You get to choose your next step back to who you are. You own back your free will.
Trauma doesn't make us stronger. It's what we CHOOSE to do from where we are with what we have available, one baby step at a time. We cannot erase or minimize the reality of having been a victim of terrible circumstances and people who never had our best interest at heart. Being a victim is a very real thing. It's not something that we shame ourselves with or for. But simply asking yourself "What now?" after having realized and accepted this painful truth IS how you automatically step outside of the victim mentality, becoming the hero of your own life.
